I don't know if I'll ever be able to see the world like you do, and I mean that as a compliment in every way. Incredible work

I wonder how this would have looked if you chose the VC instead of the NC Portra?
From the brilliant saturation, I would have guessed this was the VC.
Do you notice much difference?

To be honest, I don't notice a whole difference between 'vivid' and 'natural' in the Portra range, both are wonderful films. I have found that NC works wonderfully inside with available and tungsten light, and the VC works best outside at picking up strong tones in colours, but it's also nice to mix them up and bit to see what they are capable of thrown into a confusing situation, like here.

In these days of digital, film can still shine, and this is a great example of how! Have to admire the composition of this one, and the tones help set the mood. And yeah....creepy! As in "Did you just hear a noise behind us?" creepy!

Film certainly has something special that digital just can't grasp I think.

As always, the composition is remarkable. Moon behind the darkened steeple, with bare branches framing that steeple, really make this picture special. Add the purplish coloring of the clouds and you have perfection.

Gotta sat its tempting to use this as a stock im age for another image (its quite inspirational) so its a bit of a shame that its not a "stockable" image.

Don't have to worry though, i respect the art and the artists and if no permission is given then no permission is given ;)

Still a lovely image :)

Stunning, a beautiful image, well taken mate! The angle, the colours, the branches serving as a top frame - they say the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and this photo embodies that nicely.
