I love trees. To me they are one of the most expressive landscape and they do not have to do a thing at all. Thank you for sharing

I grew up on a farm and in the middle of nowhere was a big old dried up lake. Every time I saw it I couldnt take my eyes off it. It was filled with big old dead trees and crows were always on the branches. Its an amazing scene. I'd love to shoot there one day but its in West Australia. This pic just reminded me of it. :)

oh what a life it must have had all alone atop that hill....such an interesting silhouette in front of the approaching storm. as if in a matter of moments it would be struck down by lightning.

such warm brown hues in this one.

Excellent silhouette. I love the intricate details. The sky couldn't be better either and everything is really enhanced by the low angle. The soft dark edges and the almost sepia tone add to the mood.

Good question, it was either light getting past my lens hood, or something the camera is doing to the film, it's new to me so I will have to play with it a bit more to see whats happening.

beautiful gnarly old thing... fingers reaching to the sky

if this tree was a person, i imagine it would be an old man, with wrinkles like maps, strong hands that are callused after years of hard work and he would have many many stories to tell

i love this :)
it works
