Suck Me Dry By Scott James Prebble

Description

I love this shot not only because Meg was a ball to run around the city and be silly buggers with, but for the reactions we got doing so.

Check out the expression on the lady in the background, it's fairly representable of the looks we got that day.

:D

Meg looks SO enthusiastic. Almost absurd slurping that water in a stance that implies that she's ready to bolt down the street at a moment's notice. Lots of energy. You can't help but smile when you look at this shot.

Unique is the word.

its really really wonderful (and inspiaring) ...
question though. Did you plan this? or is it rather random and spontaneous? it doesnt look planned (although street photography almost never is)...but maby you planned it, which is why it works so well.

anyway, its really awesome and i really like the fact that as you stare at the photo, your eye kinda runs around all the time. tis' gooood

This wasn't planned at all, it was a spur of the moment thing that just happened to work out well.

The Movida bar sign should be blazened with your moniker.
It is quite the mental feat for any man to multi task so well as to get past the "wow, I would love to shag that" thought that is prevalent when being around such beauty and to discover the playful images hiding throughout a cityscape.
I know how hard it must be for you.

Fantastic! Love the shot, the people. You're so right. That woman's reaction is priceless. It reminds me of some of Elliott Erwitt's work.

Makes me miss NYC Damn you ;-) Hell or even Seattle. People in LA are just too self conscious, plus there's no one on the street.

On another note, I really love the high contrast quality of this shot ... and the movement of the water you captured is spectacular. :)
