The overhead lines create an interesting effect against the backdrop sky, I think. Beautiful colors. The stalks provide some great lines, crisscrossing & bending to create interesting studies within their boundaries without distracting from the statuesque model. She's lovely. :)

FAN BLOODY TASTIC!

This is a defining image of yours.

Conjours up fairytales, Hitchcock, and everything that makes me wanna grab my camera and get out there. Incredible.

Smile Scott. I wanna see gums! Haha.

I tip my hat Sir.

Kind of you to say Nick, and I agree completely I LOVE this shot, from the moment we shot it it has been a favorite on mine and Ari's.

Superb. (i would have 'liked' mebbee a little more light on midriff / models face - but hey, the holy grail is also hard to find.....) A fantastic image Scott; the idea, the 'seeing' with the grass and electric lines and the placement of the model makes this acer than ace. Fab-u-rama.

Very kind Doug, thank you. I would have liked a bit more even light too, but I was just using a single light here so it was a taaaaaad tricky.

I love how the dress looks at in this shot, but I wish I have a better view of her face. Her facial expression looks a bit distorted.

It's hard to ask for everything in one image Marie, with epic images like this it is almost impossible to feature a face when there is so much going on you know ?

Oh, since you put it that way, I do understand what you mean. I guess that's the least thing people would look at, right? Everything else in the photo is so outstanding, that part would not be at focus of the photo. I'm not saying I hate, it's such a great shot and I do love the angle.

It's not that it's not a focus point, because I believe all images with Ari in it her face is always the focus point, but in such a large image full of impact it's hard to just focus on the face, the reason this one works for me is that you have multiple focus points, the face, the dress, the plants, the powerlines and the sky, all competing for your eyes attention, you know.

Another super great shot. The red dress really pops and the blonde whig against the sky soars. I am really attracted to the weeds taking on every direction to make the mix quirky and complete. I also think this would have been stunning taken with the Mamiya and method used with the previous stockings photograph. :)

It could have been for sure, tricky using studio lights with those though, but maybe next time...;)

Hmm. I think you can pull it off (no pun intended, maybe) and get a nice exposure with just metering your shot and such...without the light sources and just rely on the light outside. With it you'll have some really nice shadowing, as seen here, and a very nice grayscale....and I just know the negative side would look even nicer. A pal of mine has a digi6 mounted on his SE and does nicely. Did I use the word nice too many times? Hahaha. I'm gonna hold you to that previous comment about the negatives and new book too. :devilish:
