I love the contrast between the foreground lighting and the background doom. Those are some mighty large books scattered about! Great stuff!

It's got that great feel to it, I saw the concept as a madam in whorehouse leaving finally after being treated wrong for the last time
and asking for forgiveness on her way out of town, does that idea shine through at all ?
