You are right on with this. The statement is well represented by the shot! The subject is looking in the opposite direction, but yet the cans indicate to me, someone is in love and thinking as you quote, but wants to find themselves so the marriage is complete.

I guess it's similar to the thought I had in my head, I just think in order to marry someone you really need to know yourself first in order to give yourself to someone else, and I guess that's why I never have married as I don't know myself yet.
