Reminds me of the photography in Orwell's 1984, and Metropolis. Very nice use of perspective and I love the details in the sky and some sections of the building, but I would have enjoyed it more if the blacks of the building we're clipping so much.

Hi mate, did you use a tilt shift lens for this or a verrry small aperture? However you did this the effect is brilliant!

I don't own one of those fancy tilt shifters, it's a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny aperture.

I do wish I could afford one of those tilt shifters - but I'm usually pushed right down to the 1.4 end of the stop range anyway ;)

Very ominous. I love the strong contrast and the way the highlighted parts of the building seem to leap out from the darkness. The detail at the bottom of the shot is interesting. It's symmetrical and could be interpreted as a mouth. The shadowy areas make the structure appear more foreboding and mysterious. The sky looks great with lots of detail. It does not distract from the subject but rather compliments it.

Also I get the impression that over all this image looks like it could be a film poster. The mouth-like detail at the bottom could be where the title goes.
